INTRAA's Blogs

If you are interested in Trans Theories, Queer Theory, Feminist Theory, or Sexuality Studies, you should check this new edited collection out.

I thought I would open my blogging on here by listing the web addresses for the organizations that I work with on behalf of INTRAA.

Here's some great news!

Another midwestern college has added gender identity and expression to their nondiscrimination policy. Western Michigan University has become the 68th institution of higher learning (see full list of colleges and universities that protect trans folks) to extend such protections to transgender students, faculty, and staff.

There's a new FREE e-book that is an absolutely fantastic "user manual" for FTMs. Covers basic endocrinology, hormone therapies, care risks and benefits, surgical treatments, and other health issues for trans men. The book is called:

Medical Therapy and Health Maintenance for Transgender Men: A Guide For Health Care Providers

Download it for free from: http://www.nickgorton.org/

Check this out. The editorial board over at IDS is supporting the trans kid up in Gary who couldn't go to prom in a dress.
