Dispelling myths, educating people, and providing human connections are primary goals of the INTRAA Speakers Bureau. Since its inception in October 2003, the Speakers Bureau has provided over 100 panels comprised of intelligent, informed transgender speakers to universities and community and professional groups throughout the state. The typical panel has been comprised of three to four panelists, a moderator, and an audience of 30 to 40 people.

Indy Girlz is a peer-led social/support group for male-to-female transgendered people (MTFs) in Indianapolis and surrounding areas. Members help one another by sharing experiences and useful information. We have been meeting regularly since July 2006. Our goal is to offer support, networking, and resource sharing among MTF individuals in our area.

The group welcomes persons assigned male at birth or raised as male who are exploring more feminine or female gender identities. We also welcome friends, family, significant others, and allies of MTF-identified persons, including FTMs.
