An Indianapolis therapist, Eric Applegate, passed away Wed June 28. Mr. Applegate worked with transgender clients, and he will be missed.

His obituary is in the Sunday edition of the Indy Star.

The funeral will be Wed July 5 at 4:00 at the Marot.

Here's some great news!

Another midwestern college has added gender identity and expression to their nondiscrimination policy. Western Michigan University has become the 68th institution of higher learning (see full list of colleges and universities that protect trans folks) to extend such protections to transgender students, faculty, and staff.

Check this out. The editorial board over at IDS is supporting the trans kid up in Gary who couldn't go to prom in a dress.
