REEL GENDER Film Series presents "Some Like it Hot" - 12/2
Join us for the madcapped farce, Some Like it Hot! When two Chicago musicians (Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon) witness a gangland shooting, they escape to Florida disguised as Josephine and Daphne, the two newest - and homeliest members of an all-girl jazz band. A lovelorn singer (Marilyn Monroe) falls for Josephine and an aging playboy is smitten with Daphne, while the mob boss (George Raft) refuses to be taken in by their hoax.
The REEL GENDER film series features transgender-themed dramas, comedies, documentaries, and independent films with light refreshments and an opportunity for discussion afterward.
Admission to the movies is FREE!
