UUI's Social Justice Committee presents "The Vagina Monologues" on Feb. 15 and 16 at 7pm, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Indianapolis, 615 W. 43rd Street.
Tickets are $15 each, and $10 for students/seniors (on sale at UUI on Feb. 3rd and 10th from 10am-12:30pm, and at the door OR for reservations).
Proceeds will benefit Indiana Transgender Rights Advocacy Alliance (INTRAA) to end violence against transwomen. Partially underwritten by The Beacon Fund of UUI.

Xavier Brooks, a Bloomington-area drag king, will be on BloomingOUT, a weekly radio show dedicated to Gay Lesbian Bisexual Trans Queer (GLBTQ) life broadcast from Bloomington, IN.
He will be talking about, among other things, Kings, Queens, and Everything In Between, the upcoming INTRAA drag show, so be sure to tune in!

The Seattle-based acoustic duet comprised of Joe Stevens, a singer/songwriter from California, backed up by Ingrid Eyen on vocals and upright bass, originally hailing from the hills of Southeastern Ohio. Transmen and Their Supporters CampOUT in Indiana
The boyz are back in town July 26th through 29th 2007 CE at Lothlorien Nature Sanctuary in Bedford, IN (20 minutes south of Bloomington) for the third annual CampOUT. La Fraternitié du Loup-Garou, a levi/leather group for masculine gender outlaws and their supporters, is sponsoring the four day, three night camping event to provide a way for transmen, butch women and their admirers to come together, network and have fun.
The registration fee includes three nights of camping and meals. Lothlorien has space for a drumming circle and performances. The schedule of events is still forming, but may include a drag show or talent show and a boots & boxers party. There are plenty of fire circles for socializing around and firewood will be provided. PRIDE Film Festival, set for Jan. 25, 26, and 27 at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater, 114 E. Kirkwood Ave.
PRIDE, Bloomington’s only annual film festival, is a cinematic celebration of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community hosted and presented by the historic Buskirk-Chumley Theater. Founded in 2004, the Festival was an immediate success. The second year brought nearly 1200 people and featured films from all over the world. This year the festival expanded once again featuring more than twenty movies including shorts, animation, documentaries and full-length feature films and offered awards to outstanding films. PRIDE 2007 is set for January 25-27. Film submissions are currently being accepted.
