Transmen and Their Supporters CampOUT in Indiana
The boyz are back in town July 26th through 29th 2007 CE at Lothlorien Nature Sanctuary in Bedford, IN (20 minutes south of Bloomington) for the third annual CampOUT. La Fraternitié du Loup-Garou, a levi/leather group for masculine gender outlaws and their supporters, is sponsoring the four day, three night camping event to provide a way for transmen, butch women and their admirers to come together, network and have fun.
The registration fee includes three nights of camping and meals. Lothlorien has space for a drumming circle and performances. The schedule of events is still forming, but may include a drag show or talent show and a boots & boxers party. There are plenty of fire circles for socializing around and firewood will be provided. There will even be a craft project for that complete summer camp experience. Anyone interested in performing or volunteering to make CampOUT happen should contact

Join us at our regular FTM social support meeting. FTMs and SOFFAs welcome. We follow a two topic format, having open discussion for the first hour and then splitting into two groups to discuss two different topics for the second hour.
Topics. The topics we will address at this meeting are:
TOPIC 1: Spirituality Discuss your experiences in spiritual/religious communities. |
TOPIC 2: “Metrosexuals, Genderqueers, and Bois”* Gender identities within the community aren’t so simple as FTM or MTF. This topic will cover the gray areas of the gender binary. |
Join us for dinner and further casual conversation after the meeting!
IXE, a social support group for all gender conflicted persons, their family, spouses and SO's (this includes CD, TV, TS, TG, or those who don't want a label or put themselves in a box), meets once a month. Admission is $5 per person. (They frown if we don't pay our rent). 1st time visitors are free. It is also a pitch-in, so if you are able to come, please bring a dish to share. There is a place on premises to change if you wish. But you can come in drab if you would feel more comfortable.
The building opens at 6 pm. All changes of meeting dates, locations and times are noted in the newsletter. If you would like information on how to join our little band (and get the newsletter!!), you can contact us by e-mail at .
