Join us for the 16th Annual Southern Comfort Conference in Atlanta GA. Here you’ll find support, information and friends in a welcoming atmosphere of Southern hospitality. Vendors, authors, entertainers and leaders from the entire spectrum of the transgender community will be on hand for five days of learning, networking and fun.

Daytimes are given over to an extensive program of informative seminars, shopping at the large vendors’ area and group luncheons that feature entertaining and provocative speakers from the leadership of the transgender community.

Join us for our monthly meeting! Indy Girlz is a peer-led social and support group for people on the male-to-female spectrum (MTF) and their significant others, friends, family, and allies (SOFFAs).

Those attending the meeting may identify in any number of ways, including but not limited to transsexual, transgender, MTF, crossdresser, transwoman, bi-gender, and drag queen. Those attending may be of any sexual orientation.

"Queerying" Gender: A Therapist-facilitated Support Group for Transgender, Gender Queer, Intersex, and Two-Spirit Individuals

Do you often wonder about the relation of gender to biological sex? Is your experience of gender and sex at odds with the concepts of women and men in American society? Do you feel that the world around you restricts your ability to express your femininity and masculinity?

Queerying Gender is an informal discussion group that will offer an opportunity to meet others, share information and explore in a confidential and secure atmosphere.

The 2006 Bloomington Multicultural Festival will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2006, from 11 am - 4 pm at City Hall at Showers Plaza, 401 N. Morton Street (City Hall at Showers Plaza is the site where the Bloomington Farmers' Market is held).

Throughout the afternoon on October 1st, the Plaza Commons will come alive with the culture and expression of Bloomington residents. The Bloomington Multicultural Festival will celebrate - through entertainment, food and activities - the diverse populations living in Bloomington. With the participation of a myriad of cultural organizations, performers and musicians representative of our community, the Festival will promote appreciation and respect for the value and strength of a diverse community.
Included in the festivities will be delicious international and ethnic foods, where festival-goers can sample foods from around the world. Many children's activities are being planned, to provide plenty of fun and educational opportunities for children to explore the wonders of diversity.

Join us for the next regular meeting of the Muncie Trans Network support group. For now, meetings are limited to transgender individuals (FTM, MTF, genderqueer, other-gendered, etc.) and those who are questioning their gender. The group plans to expand in the future to offer support for significant others, friends, family, and allies (SOFFAs) of transgender people.

Trans Lafayette is a support group that meets biweekly in Lafayette, IN at the Pride Lafayette Center. The group is open to transgender, transsexual, gender variant, genderqueer, and questioning individuals in the Purdue, West Lafayette, Lafayette, and Tippecanoe County communities.
