Bloomington TG Monthly Meeting - 8/12
Bloomington TG Group is a social and educational peer support group serving the TransGender community of Southern Indiana.
The Bloomington TG group meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
Note: The meeting is no longer a “pitch-in” or “pot luck” meeting, but some of us go out to dinner afterwards.
There are facilities to "change & makeup".
Purpose: To provide a positive and supportive environment for all of our brothers and sisters in the TransGender community. This is an opportunity to meet others in the local community, to provide a safe place to go for those who are not "out", and an opportunity for those who are "out" to share their experiences. It is our hope that this will be both fun and educational.
Who are welcome: The group is open to all members of the TransGender community (MTF, FTM, Intersex, TS, TV, CD, etc...). Significant others, supportive family and supportive friends are welcome to accompany a TG person.
Who is not welcome: This is not a dating service -- those who are strictly "admirers" looking to pick up a date are NOT welcome!!
Meeting Location: Unitarian Universalist Church of Bloomington, 2120 N Fee Lane. The nearest Cross Street is Fee Lane and the 45/46 Bypass. (Yahoo maps and MapQuest provide excellent directions.)
